ABOUT BICKERSTAFF

Bickerstaff Inc. was founded in 2023 with one goal in mind: to restore, rebuild, and reimagine what’s possible for at-risk youth in our communities. Born from the vision of Bernard Bickerstaff, a respected coach and community organizer, the nonprofit combines sports, education, and mental health to provide a holistic path to growth. At the heart of Bickerstaff Inc. is the belief that basketball is more than a game—it’s a tool to teach life skills, discipline, and self-belief. Our programs are designed to reach young people where they are, offering mentorship, trade and coding classes, mental wellness workshops, and athletic training that builds both body and mind. What makes Bickerstaff Inc. unique is our full-spectrum approach. We don’t just focus on one aspect of development—we invest in the whole child. From creating safe havens in high-risk neighborhoods to connecting youth with real-world career and leadership skills, we’re not here for short-term wins—we’re here for lifelong impact.

Looking forward, our vision includes building a youth center, establishing a single mothers’ housing initiative, and expanding our reach across Colorado and beyond. We’re raising future leaders. And we’re just getting started.
